Protect pedestrians, cyclists, commuters,
homeowners and their properties from reckless and speeding drivers

FDOT report shows an average of 6 car crashes/month on approx 1.7 mile stretch of SR 426 (N. Lakemont to S Park Avenue)

Winter Park Police latest report:
From July 10, 2024 to March 4, 2025, there were 43 crashes, 8 of them caused injuries (1 serious injury).

From 2017-2022, crash frequency total is estimated at 666 (2020-2021 shows significant reduction due to pandemic)
Out of 666 crashes, there were 2 deaths, 203 injuries (32.3%), and 424 property damage (64%)

WP Police also reports, there's:
  • An average of 4,201 speed violators daily
  • High volume of traffic in a residential area, average of 40,000++cars passing thru daily

We are working together as a community to radically reduce the number of traffic accidents that cause injuries/fatalities, and personal property damage.
